sleep with family in
Lat Krabang.
We have to do with half a cup of instant coffee each.
We, especially Pia, are packing the last of our things.
Then we'll take a shower.
Our flight is around noon, which means we have to be at the airport around 9:00.
On the way there, we need to do some shopping, but we are at Suvarnabhumi Airport around 9:00.
There's a long queue at the Eva Air counters for baggage drop-off.
Three other Eva Air flights are departing during te same time, hence the crowds.
Fortunately, baggage drop-off is very quick; there's no hassle about excess weight or
oversized carry-on luggage.
Security checks are also quick and smooth.
Tom's passport check doesn't go smoothly.
The automated system can read the passport, but can't match it to the photo the camera takes.
So Tom has to go to a real official.
On the way to the plane, we buy some cosmetics and something to eat, and finally, something
to drink.
Boarding goes smoothly, there's plenty of room for carry-on luggage, and the Premium Economy
class where we're sitting is completely full except for one seat.
And we're sitting next to that one seat.
The flight is smooth, the service is good, very good, and the food is decent.
Pia has a little problem with her phone because she's lost it.
It turns out it's between two seats, and the problem is solved.
We even get a little sleep on the way.
We land at Schiphol forty-five minutes early, but that's offset by the fact that the luggage
is coming onto the belt very slowly.
It turns out customs is conducting extra checks.
But we eventually get all our suitcases and aren't checked any further.
We drive home in our own car, with a driver, arriving around ten o'clock, quite tired.
We partially unpack our suitcases, take out all the food, have a few more drinks, and go to
bed around twelve o'clock (six o'clock in the morning, Thai time).

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
